I’ve always had a slight fascination with routines. I love jotting down to do lists, and filling up my calendar and writing down steps. It makes the days many processes so much more doable and fulfilling if you can check them off one by one.
And I’ve always wondered what order to do skin care and makeup. Do you apply concealer first or foundation? Or what about contouring? Blush or bronzer first? While I’m sure there is no hard set rule, there is definitely a better and a worse way of doing them (as there is with almost anything!)
So when I ran into this infographic I was pretty enthralled. It’s just a little something you can use, or not use, to aide in your skincare and makeup routines. Sometimes just seeing it all written down can help you from skipping a step- for some reason I always forget to put on mascara and it’s a really obvious mistake if my eye makeup is all done. So what I do is double check my list, and lay out all of my products in a line in the order I need to use them.
Does your routine differ from this one? What do you do differently?
