Hello ladies, its wedding season once again and pinterest is being flooded with beautiful wedding day photos. From hair and makeup posts, it makes me want to head to sephora and cash in my next weeks paycheck. But as we all know, we must eat and pay our rent, so blowing our cash on makeup isn’t always possible. But lucky for you, I’ve got this great little tutorial for a cheap and beautiful wedding makeup. The coloring on this photo may be a little to pink for some, but you can easily adjust the color to fix your needs.
Basically the lips are extremely easy. Start with a lip liner that is just slightly darker then the lipstick. And when I say slightly, i mean SLIGHTLY, don’t over do it! Apply the lipstick and some slight matching shimmer. I really love this soft pink coloring, so try it out! Now onto the eyes, which are always the most challenging. Make sure your eyebrows and manicured and perfectly straight, and use some darker eye shadow to fill in an spots in your eyebrows that don’t seem dark enough. We don’t want BLACK eyebrows here, just slightly darker and defined than normal.
Then move on to you very light pink eyeshadow. Blend is nice and evenly around your eyelid, and then grab a slightly lighter color for the lower part of the lid. Make sure everything is blended nicely. Apply your mascara evenly and thick, but make sure you don’t have any clumped together hairs. Now comes the hard part, the liquid eyeliner. I actually practiced this on a piece of paper a few times before applying it to my eye. Because its so dark and beautiful, you really need a clean edge to make to look nice. This takes a steady hand and good hand eye coordination. So just practice practice practice as always!
